In Varsseveld, (small town 3 kms from Heelweg) there is an old well preserved farmhouse museum dating back to the 15 hundreds. hh This is the counterbalanced drinking well. There is another hand pumped outside well on the left Here is the old outdoor woodfired oven, the tool sharpening stone, a couple of mill stones and a barn full of old equipment. It's right in town and is a park-like setting. Sheep, goats, chickens, horses and cattle as well as a viable vegetable garden are all open. Many mums and kids stop by, very peaceful.
