Love the smell of fresh turned dirt and manure injection in the morning

Image
Local farmers very busy with planting preparations These specialized vehicles inject liquid  manure compost directly into the ground, little smell as it is turned under.  It's contract work, very specialised vehicles with large low pressure tires that do not compact the ground. Looks like potatoes, corn and silage are going to be the dominant crops here this spring. It's pretty dry so they are hauling out the irrigation equipment to water the fields with big water cannons.
