Busy 'E ' biking weekend....

Temperatures were up in the 80's here this first weekend in June.
Lots of outdoor activities in the Achterhoek.

Small farm stalls sell produce, eggs, walnuts, honey, books etc by the roadside, honour system....ya leaves yer money in the pot.
This one was selling flower seeds and plants.

Wildflower seeds are sold in clay balls that you chuck by the roadside....they don't mow the roadsides in summer and wildflowers everywhere.
A nice tradition.

Milestone birthdays are a big thing in the country.. yards are decorated

Horse and cart tours through the forests and country lanes, popular for the city visitors

Funny that the benches face each other and the side curtains down.
Dutch 'circle party', i guess.
