52° North.....tings ARE very different here.....'Gourmetting'

 At Xmas, things are different here.  Rather than slaving away for a couple of days preparing a lavish feast of massive cut of meat or huge bird, many Dutch do this.

PS:- We don't have one of these tingums.  There are many in the Thrift Shops after Xmas for just a few €s.  In warmer weather we prefer to cook/grill/wok/ outside with the peacocks and neighbor's chooks.
