We have a problem with moles, in the yard and the garden

We have tried pissing in the tunnels, that didn't work and it's cold outside......got to take off too many clothes.

Some locals use carbide gas....acetylene (carbide rocks in water) but nothing seems to work, humanely.

The moles are after my garden worms.

Last year I bought a kilo of garden worms and started a worm farm in crates to make compost.  That went well, so I buried 4 inch pipes in the garden and transferred the worms.  They have spread throughout the yard and garden, but unfortunately worms are the preferred diet for moles.
