Grand Prix F1 is a big deal in Netherlands + controversial results

 and Dutch national, Max Verstappen, pipped Englishman Lewis Hamilton on the last lap to controversially win the championship.  Mercedes is protesting the Red Bull win.  The final race of the season was held in Abu Dhabi and both drivers had equal points.

I think that the whole of the Netherlands watched the race live on TV and internet and there was a large Dutch contingent in attendace in Abu Dhabi

There were no cars on the roads in our area during the race.

Our beloved English Ex sister in-law Tanya was lucky enough to attend the race, live in Abu Dhabi.  It was combined with an arranged cruise ship visit to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.  Compliments of rich companion, who is a total 'Gearhead' and Grand Prix nut.
